QSPA Gallery presents contemporary prints by postgraduate and alumni students at Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo. The exhibition challenges the boundaries of printmaking, when repetition and immediacy already permeate our every interaction with culture, with information, and with one another. Prints take on new territories that transcend the limits of the printed image as: woodcut, installation, found objects, artist´s publishing, video, stone-lithography, and sculpture.
KHiO educates students who go on as artists to decisively influence cultural life in Norway. Grafikk is committed to the expanded field of printmaking. The specialism imparts formal and tacit knowledge in printing, drawing, photography, and artists’ publishing, with international alumni emerging to shape the agenda for future artistic engagement.
